Synthetic grass properly laid essentially looks after itself, an occasional rake through with a plastic rake will keep it looking great – but once every year or so a power broom/groom through the grass and a top up of silica sand keeps it looking at its best and prolongs its life.
The grass sits on a rubber base, and on this rubber base is spread Silica Sand, a very fine kiln dried sand.
The main purpose of the sand is to spread and fill in between the individual grass blades which helps it stand tall and upright.
Over a period of time, the silica sand dissipates and hardens giving a flatter look.
A buildup of pollution, twigs and leaves cuts and pulls down on the grass giving a flatter, less robust look.
Depending on foot traffic an annual or bi annual Grooming Service can revitalise and freshen up the area re-establishing that look of upright, thick, full and abundant grass.
This ongoing process will have your grass looking its best and pro long the life of the grass.

- Our method, is to power broom the grass redistributing and declogging the existing Silica Sand and dislodging the buildup of twigs, debris etc.
